Following the scandal in the UK that led to the resignation of an advisor to Boris Johnson’s government, it was leaked that he breached the strict COVID-19 quarantine by attending a party with 20 other officials on May 15, 2020.

The meeting took place at 10 Downing Street, where wine, other spirits and pizza were offered after a press conference and went well into the night, although Johnson stayed only a short time, according to The Guardian of Dec. 16.

The same controversial party was attended by Matt Hancock, then Health Secretary, after he had urged citizens to “stay at home as much as possible” at a press conference that same day.

Meanwhile, Scottish National Party (SNP) Westminster leader Ian Blackford called again for Johnson’s resignation over the scandal, having done so after government adviser Allegra Stratton resigned from her post this week for breaching quarantine and mocking it.

“A culture of rule-breaking dominates this corrupt Tory government. The SNP has been clear that this prime minister has lost all authority and he has a duty to at long last do the right thing and resign,” Blackford stressed.

Similarly, UK MP and Conservative Party member Douglas Ross said, “If the prime minister knew anything about this party last December, knew about this party last week, and was still denying it, then that is the most serious allegation.”

He added: “There is absolutely no way you can mislead parliament and think you could get off with that. No one should continue in their post if they mislead parliament in that way.”

Although officials have denied that the party Stratton attended took place, BBC contacts confirmed that it did take place on Dec. 18, 2020, and was attended by “several dozen” people, according to a Dec. 8 release.

After the video of this breach of the supposedly ‘strict’ quarantine was leaked, Johnson offered apologies and announced that an investigation would be conducted and “disciplinary action will be taken against all those involved.”

These two breaches of the health regulations imposed on all residents suggest that there have been more numerous infractions by members of the government, including the Conservatives.

Moreover, the Metropolitan Police are reportedly investigating “alleged breaches of the Health Protection Regulations” issued by the spread of the COVID-19 disease.

These breaches have become widespread at the highest levels of international politics. For example, after almost two years without meeting, on June 12, the heads of state of Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States and the United Kingdom, all members of the G7 bloc, also broke the rules.

The G7 members met on a beach in Carbis Bay in southwest England, hosted by British Prime Minister Boris Johnson. As they posed for their staged photographs, all without exception presumed to comply with COVID regulations.

However, when they forget about the cameras and relax, their behavior is far from the protocols that they demand from ordinary citizens.

This video for example shows Emmanuel Macron and Joe Biden talking less than a meter away from each other, facing each other and holding each other’s shoulders … an almost romantic scene, and similarly several videos evidence the double standards that politicians like them often apply.
