The governor of South Dakota, Kristi Noem, evaluated the value of celebrating as a family on Thanksgiving Day and did not impose restrictions as did other states to supposedly prevent the dispersion of the CCP (Chinese Communist Party) Virus.

“Thanksgiving is just around the corner, and all over the country families are planning how to celebrate with their loved ones in the midst of #COVID-19 [CCP Virus],” Noem tweeted.

“In South Dakota, we will not stop or discourage you from thanking God and spending time together this Thanksgiving,” she added.

For Noem, personal responsibility has a significant place as a prevention measure, and that is what she recommended to the citizens.

“I will continue to encourage each and every one of you to exercise personal responsibility and make smart choices,” she said.

Noem also issued recommendations on hygiene and protection for the most vulnerable, advising that if someone was sick or had symptoms, they should opt for a virtual meeting.

Noem also shared that after thanking God with her family, she would also thank them for “living in the greatest nation in human history, one founded on the key principles of freedom, equality, and opportunity.

She added, “I am grateful for the tremendous opportunity to serve the people of South Dakota and for the trust they have shown me throughout this pandemic. Thank you, and may God richly bless your Thanksgiving.

Perhaps it goes without saying that the governor’s words inspired her citizens.

“You are a great inspiration. God bless you. You give me hope,” wrote mother and businesswoman @katcolor4.

She also received understanding from those sympathetic to her for the criticisms she faced after showing compassion for South Dakota citizens.

“Thank you, Governor. Your continuous and reasonable response to this crisis is a breath of fresh air,” said the user @CronyCapital.

He added: “You probably never thought that a simple and firm devotion to freedom and American values would make you the target of so many abuses. Her courage is an example to us all.

Another Internet user was even more extensive in his recognition of Noem’s regard for the holiday so cherished by most Americans.

“This is true leadership, respecting individual freedoms and treating people as adults, not as irresponsible biohazards,” wrote @Rafal_Cala.

In these terrible dark times of stupid tyranny and scientific censorship, South Dakota stands for the values of the Enlightenment and humanism”, he added.

The U.S. Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) reported that in October, the trend of increasing cases of children and young adults with mental health problems continued, mainly due to confinement as a measure to prevent the spread of the CCP Virus, reported Fox News.

Dr. Scott Atlas, President Trump’s medical advisor, said he disagrees with the proposed government lockdowns to combat the CCP virus.

“I don’t want to see the figure that one in four Americans, college students, 18 to 24 years old, thought about killing themselves in June because of the lockdown,” Dr. Atlas told Fox News.
