On Tuesday evening’s Ingraham Angle, two famous American doctors criticized Dr. Anthony Fauci, claiming that many of the presidential advisor’s orders are “not true.” Dr. Peter McCullough was joined on the show by Dr. Jay Bhattacharya and Fox News host Laura Ingraham.
Ingraham said, citing an article in New York magazine, “just now [they are] reporting that it’s time to rethink COVID protocols for children, noting that fewer kids died from COVID than from pneumonia, heart disease, suicide, homicide, car crashes, or drownings.”
“The left has covered up the truth that this virus is not lethal for children,” according to Ingraham, and Anthony Fauci, the director of the US National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), is “still pushing the [discredited] line.”
In a recent MSNBC interview, Fauci said young children need to wear masks “The children who are not able to get vaccinated because of their age should follow—their parents should follow with them—the guidelines of the CDC, that unvaccinated children of a certain age greater than 2 years old should be wearing masks, no doubt about that.” “That’s the way to protect them from getting infected, because, if they do, they can then spread the infection to someone else. So, the CDC guidelines for unvaccinated people, including children, are not changed at all.”
According to new research published in JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association), wearing a face mask leads children to inhale deadly quantities of carbon dioxide that becomes trapped behind the mask.
Dr. Harald Walach and colleagues discovered that the air masked children inhaled contained more than six times the legal, safe level of carbon dioxide for closed rooms specified by the German Federal Environmental Office in a peer-reviewed research letter. The safe limit for carbon dioxide is 0.2%, while the air inhaled by the masked children contained over 1.3%.
The effect was more apparent in younger children, with one seven-year-old inhaling air containing 2.5% carbon dioxide—more than 12 times the safe limit.
Ingraham then asked Bhattacharya, “how is this still being pronounced upon by Fauci in this manner?”
“Dr. Fauci spent last summer campaigning, in effect, to close our schools down. He scared parents with talk about how dangerous COVID was to kids and how they were spreading the disease,” the Stanford professor said. “We know now that that’s not true, [and] in fact kids are very inefficient spreaders of the disease.”
Bhattacharya was angry that Fauci is still arguing “to restrict children in schools with masks. Masks harm the development of children. And if they’re not necessary to control the spread of the disease, why should we ask our children to pay that harm? It boggles my mind. I wish he [Fauci] would just stop doing that.”
“I think he should resign … Anthony Fauci should be forced to resign if he doesn’t resign of his own volition. What was done to our children over the last year and a half was a crime against humanity, in my view. We’ll never know the real damage done to children,” Ingraham claimed.
Ingraham was also confused by how “natural immunity has essentially been kind of tossed aside by Dr. Fauci.”
McCullough went on to say that doctors always work in groups, exchanging knowledge and ideas. But “that’s not what we’re seeing from the top now,” he said.
“We have an institute director at the NIH [National Institutes of Health], that is basically a medical dictator. There’s no teamwork; there’s no exchange of ideas. The CDC, NIH, FDA, they are so far behind on the data now.
“We’ve had twelve randomized trials … [that show] no benefit to public masking at any level,” he declared.
