Joe Biden on his first day as president, as part of the measures implemented in defense of the controversial Paris Climate Agreement, canceled the Keystone XL Pipeline project, which, during the Trump administration, had agreed to create jobs. Criticism from those who defend industry and local development was not long in coming.

Sen. Steve Daines (R-Mont.), during an interview on America ‘s Newsroom, was one of those who quickly condemned the measure and warned that it is really the beginning of what could be a series of catastrophic actions for U.S. citizens.

During the interview he stressed that the immediate effect in times of crisis, will be reflected in people’s pockets.

“This is going to have a direct effect on the pocketbooks of the American people, here, in the middle of a pandemic.”

Keystone had agreed to hire more people directly, in addition to the jobs created by companies and businesses that provide services generated by this type of investment.

Another important point of the pipeline was the national security issue, taking into account that it implied one more step away from the total energy independence of the Middle East.

But none of this happened, Biden warned and complied. In his agenda he has a big item called “Green New Deal” and undoubtedly this action is part of that objective included in the globalist plans of the international left.

In one day the path traced with effort during four years was reversed. As Daines stated: “(Biden’s action) reverses course and puts dependence back on the Middle East. That’s a terrible policy for our country,” adding, “He seems to care more about workers in Saudi Arabia than workers in the United States.”

Democrats, motivated by their radical left wing, intend to treat alleged “climate change” as a national security threat by seeking to make the Pentagon available to fight it.

Progressive lawmakers have already announced, even officially, their desire to reduce National Defense spending by 2021. And on different occasions they have demonstrated their interest in reducing this Defense spending in order to redirect those funds to the fight against “climate change”.

These initiatives could be jeopardizing the historic U.S. military apparatus and its defense strategies in the face of real security threats.

Rep. Cori Bush (D-Mo.), said she expects to defund the Pentagon during her term. Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.), and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) and Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) have promoted a similar defense budget-cutting resolution with the support of Greenpeace.

“If you’re having a bad day, just think of all the social services we’re going to fund after we defund the Pentagon.” Bush wrote last year on her Twitter account.

Michèle Flournoy, former President Barack Obama’s No. 2 at the Pentagon from 2009 to 2012, spoke repeatedly about her intention to “green” the Defense Department through initiatives such as the creation of a new office for energy innovation, which would focus on research and development of green technologies and the fight against climate change with a national security focus.

Many conservative professionals and politicians doubt that the Green New Deal can really save the environment, what is certain is that it will destroy the U.S. economy and its effects have begun to be seen today with the loss of at least 52,000 jobs.

The sponsors of the Green New Deal, including Democratic Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) and Markey, promote the goal of eliminating conventional fuels (that is oil, natural gas, and coal) by 2030, only a decade from now. They also mention as part of the change the implementation of a federal jobs guarantee; retrofitting all buildings in the United States; retrofitting transportation with high-speed rail; and providing universal health care.

But no one mentions how the energy used to power the economy that sustains the lives of the millions of people who work in the United States every day will be replaced. How will the wealth that is produced every day be replaced? Who will finance all these investments? What price will Americans have to pay?

Biden himself has declared his support for Green New Deal policies, and even among his campaign proposals, they appear as part of his fundamental platform. Although he has never explained where he would get the funds to carry out his plans, his legislators have done so through various proposals. All of them are detrimental to the safety of citizens, cause the destruction of industries, and there will be a lack of jobs.
