A recent report by two Republican lawmakers exposes the dubious business ties between Hunter Biden, son of former Vice President Joe Biden, and the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) and the Russian government.
The Blaze reported that Senate Finance Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), along with Senate Homeland Security Chairman Ron Johnson (R-Wis.), released on Wednesday, Nov. 18, the findings of a five-page report produced as a supplemental to the September report titled Hunter Biden, Burisma and Corruption: The Impact on U.S. Government Policy and Related Concerns.
The supplemental document reveals new evidence about the relationship between Hunter Biden and another of his business partners, Rob Walker, who is also financially linked to the Chinese Communist Party (CCP).
“The new information is consistent with other records within the Committees’ possession, which show millions of dollars being transferred from a Chinese entity linked to the Communist Party to Robinson Walker LLC,” the senators wrote in their report, according to The Blaze.
The finding was established from information provided by Hunter Biden’s former associate, Tony Bobulinski, who provided the Whatsapp conversations he had with Walker, which establish the relationship he had with the Biden family.
Two separate wire transfers were cited in the report, each of which states a total of $3 million was sent by a Shanghai-based company called State Energy HK Limited to a Robinson Walker LLC bank account in 2017.
The Shanghai-based company was at the same time associated with CEFC China Energy, another company linked to the CCP. “These transactions are a direct link between Walker and the Chinese communist government,” the senators said in the report.
Walker was also associated with at least three of Hunter Biden’s partner companies: Oldaker, Biden and Belair LLP; Seneca Global Advisors; and Rosemont Seneca Advisors.
The report also found that Hunter Biden received a $3.5 million wire transfer from Elena Baturina, the wife of the former mayor of Moscow.
Grassley and Johnson said, “To date, the Committees have requested records from Hunter Biden, James Biden, James Gilliar, Tony Bobulinski, and Rob Walker. At this time, only Bobulinski has cooperated with the Committees.”
As for the investigation the senators are leading into the Biden family’s illicit business, it would not be affected by their leaving the chairmanship of their committees due to term limits when a new Congress is established in January, according to the New York Post.
Last week, Grassley wrote a letter to Attorney General William Barr asking the Justice Department to review Hunter and James Bidens’ business dealings.
