Zhengzhou flood disaster: the government banned people from offering flowers on memorial day

Coincidentally, the above disasters happened simultaneously on July 20. A terrible flood occurred in Zhengzhou, Henan, on this day a year ago. After a year, not only was the official media of the Chinese government completely silent about the disaster but even the people were forbidden to offer flowers on memorial day.

The Paper reported that the Henan Armed Police Regiment said that on the afternoon of July 20, 2021, due to continuous heavy rainfall and violent downflow of water upstream, the water level of the Changzhuang reservoir in the city of Zhengzhou surged, reaching a record level.

However, the sudden release of the flood without warning the people to evacuate resulted in the Zhengzhou subway line 5 being flooded and more than 500 passengers trapped in the carriages. The Jingguang tunnel in Zhengzhou city was flooded for a short time, causing hundreds of cars to be inundated in the tunnel. To this day, the number of people who died from that flood remains a mystery.

One of history’s worst crimes began on July 20

July 20 is a day millions will never forget. On July 20, 1999, former CCP leader Jiang Zemin used the entire state apparatus to launch a frenzied persecution against Falun Gong practitioners. Millions of Falun Gong practitioners have been illegally persecuted, detained, convicted, maimed, or tortured. The CCP even commits a crime that has never been seen on this planet: harvesting organs from living bodies.

The brutal persecution of Falun Gong has been going on for 23 years now. However, under the CCP’s bribes and threats, many people have complied with the regime to keep quiet about their criminal behavior.

And the horror of the persecution is even more noticeable when consecutive natural disasters occur on July 20 every year.
